The Hole is proud to announce our first year participating in the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair presenting a solo booth by emerging artist Prinston Nnanna. The 1-54 fair in beautiful historic Somerset House was founded by Touria El Glaoui in 2013, the first leading international art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora with annual editions in London, New York and Marrakech.Please visit us at booth W17.
For this exhibition Prinston will exhibit seven charcoal portraits on hand-toned paper, oval and rectangle; plus four small works on wood panel. A recent graduate of New York Academy of Art, Nnanna (b. 1990, Houston TX) is just beginning to exhibit his captivating portraits and was included in our summer show Paper View.
