The Armory Show 2024
September 5–8, 2024

The Hole presents a solo booth by Andy Dixon for our sixth year participating in the fair. In a gridded-out booth suggestive of Memphis and Italian Radical Design styles, five new paintings from a new body of work will be our Solo section presentation for 2024. This new series explores flatness as Dixon pulls images or entire paintings from across art history and juxtaposes them in sparse color fields. In his ongoing battle with depth the artist tries a new way to insist upon flatness in his acrylic and pastel hybrids.
